Meanwhile at the table, Theodora feels herself in control again, finally after hundreds of years of observing those pesky humans she has found herself in an actual body again. She is surrounded by strangers, but that does not matter. She can feel her body being attracted to the one sitting behind a screen, while disliking the man across the table and being friendly to the one right next to her.

She looks down and sees dice in weird shapes, unsure why, she just remembers the girl… Anita… ordering the woodworker to make them in this shape. It was hell watching the blades hitting the wood she inhabited for so long. But a sweet release to now be able to breathe again.

She feels she no longer has any magic in her, the body she now inhabits not being a witch, but there is still power in her dice. She can feel the poor girl panicking in them, but that is Anita’s hell now, no longer hers.

She smiles and tries to focus on what is going on, but it is weird. The man she is attracted to starts explaining they reach a cabin in the woods while they are sitting right here. The man she dislikes starts saying “Theodora this was your friend, could you maybe make introductions?”

She swallows, and looks up in surprise “Are you okay?” Her lover asks. “Um yes… of course, what could be wrong? I um… I knock on the door.”

“Who is there?” the man says in a creepy voice. She startles a bit, but starts to understand this is a bit like theater, so she replies, “It is Theodora dear… we just want to talk to you.” “I ready my great sword” the man that she dislikes says. “Cedric, that is a bit of an overreaction don’t you think” Her friend says.

“Oh, come on Eric, this is clearly the home of a hag! Hags are evil, they need to die.” Cedric says.

The door opens, long elongated fingers greet you as the door opens and a large hag appears in the door opening. She smiles at you with a toothy grin.

Anita looks terrified at the creature and in her head is urging Cedric to attack it. She never expected to agree with the asshole but holy shit this thing is creepy. She feels magic in her body and tries to cast something, but she cannot. She is stuck and can only do whatever another tells her to do. She feels like a puppet.

She needs to find a way to contact her friends, a way to tell them what is going on, she thinks while tears are streaming down her face. Nothing around her reacts to her emotions at all as they walk into the creepy creature’s home. When she enters it, there is complete blackness for a second before slowly, one by one, the details are revealed.

She walks into the cabin and sees an obvious trip wire. “You see no traps” she hears Teddy say and starts to object but her body walks forward, causing the wire to be tripped, and a blast blows her backwards.

Her body hits the ground hard, she spits up some blood before getting up once more, now casting spells. It feels empowering even though she knows she is not controlling what is going on.

They kill the evil looking creature, and she immediately starts investigating her surroundings. She has magic and this thing was also clearly magical, so there should be something here that can help her, that can get her out of here. But on the other hand, it doesn’t make sense that there would be anything here to help her. She tries to stop, but her body continues searching for clues, as if it is looking for something different.

She spots a trapdoor that she is sure wasn’t there before, almost as if somebody only just now started explaining it. As if she was in the game.

WAIT!?! Is that what is happening? Then what happened to her body? Suddenly the room becomes dark. She is surrounded by darkness, only hearing the conversation of whoever is controlling her and Anita’s friends are having.
