They find Sam and Livia sitting in the cabin talking. Adaly smiles broadly at them “I can now see your souls” she jokes without activating her sight. Sam smiles back “Good to hear, how did it go for you Amara?” “I succeeded in the first step, so only 2 more to go.” Amara also smiles.

Sam still looks tired, but Adaly is happy to see him up and about again “So… I think I should ask Jeremy if he wants to join us in the morning in Certevilla. If not, I think we should spend the night here and teleport directly there.” The party nods in agreement but Amara adds a small note “I still would like to eat here” and Adaly nods.

She sends a message to Jeremy ‘Hey Jeremy, quick question, did you want to join us for Certevilla or Jack’s funeral? If yes, we shall arrive at camp this eve.’ She quickly gets back ‘No thank you, I am happy to stay at the cabin. Convey my condolences to Damon though.’

“He is happy staying in the swamp, so let’s go eat I am starving.” Adaly says while helping Sam up and the 4 of them going to fire, eating a very meat filled dinner. Adaly eats more than she has done in weeks and gets a nod of approval from her party members. She sleeps restfully for the first time since the Es-Vahelieth fight, and feels energetic to start the new day. Amara already went to do her morning routine and Livia probably sitting in a tree somewhere, leaving her alone with a still sleeping Sam. She looks him over and smiles at herself.

Her feelings are still risky, she shouldn’t act on them, but it is soothing to watch him sleep. He gently stirs awake, and Adaly quickly looks away, going into her bag of holding grabbing the fancy clothing.

Adaly can feel his eyes on her, while she places the clothing ready for all of them “Not joining Livia this morning” he asks while coming closer. “No, she probably told you what happened 2 days ago… It is a bit awkward.” She smiles towards him, and he smiles back. He has a gorgeous smile, and Adaly can feel her heart skipping a beat.

Shortly after the other party members enter, Adaly quickly brings her thoughts back to the mission. “We should present ourselves already a bit fancy, I am not going to wear the dress we bought yet, that will be a surprise for all of you in the evening of the auction, but I have this purple dress which was fancy enough for a meeting with Lord and Lady Chevalier, so it is good enough.” They all nod and start wearing their fancy clothing. Livia looks hot in her dress, Adaly knew they made the right call. Sam also looks very hot but Adaly tries to ignore that.

“I should also still mention I had another dream last night” Amara mentions while they are gathering their wyverns. “Oh, what happened this time?” Adaly asks, being brought back immediately to their mission. “The thief had a meeting with a devil that told him that the ebony guard returned to the hells after failing to capture you… and maybe this guy should join the ebony guard” Amara explains

Adaly stops for a second and swallows “Okay…. What did the devil look like?” “Giant creature with spider like legs, but a scaly lizard like face and a human torso, very weird looking fella” Amara starts describing and Adaly immediately feels a weight dragging her down again “Es-Harelliar… one of my uncles… fuck another general chasing us.” Adaly rubs her head.

Amara chuckles “So we wait until he comes to us and kill him. The generals make our mission so much easier” Adaly rolls her eyes, not agreeing with her friend, but happy she at least can see the positive side of this. “Before we go… I did have a question, do you want to go to the funeral? If not, we could go to the cabin and you attempt another soulsight vision… I do want to go, but we can split up” Adaly asks and Amara smiles “Yes, I think that would be smarter. I do not really care about Jack the Wizard.”

Once they have collected everything, they teleport to Certevilla. The teleportation hall they enter is clearly not made for the wyverns, and the personnel is slightly panicking, but they get escorted to a courtyard where Guillemina arrives shortly after them.

They are led to the security checkpoint “So here we ask our patrons for taking off their magical items. Everything that is not allowed entry will be placed here in a vault per patron.” Adaly nods in understanding while she takes off her obviously not allowed materials. “I would like to see if what I am wearing right now still is allowed entry… I know I have to take the necklace of for the scan, but would like to immediately put it on afterward.” The guards nod in understanding and she steps through.

“Sorry my lady, your Ioun stone can cast a spell, that is also not allowed.” One of the guards says and she takes of her Ioun stone, places it in the bag of holding and then she can walk through. They check her necklace but shortly after give it back to her.

Amara and Sam walk through without issue, but Livia gets stopped. “Sorry my lady, your amulet, it is an extradimensional storage space, so not allowed entry.” Livia looks in surprise, and Adaly cocks her head, that is weird. The guard continues “Please take it off and leave it with the rest of your stuff.” Livia looks scared, holding her necklace “Darling it is okay, keep it on, and wait with the wyverns, we shall see you soon.” Adaly intervenes before anybody forces Livia. Livia gives her a glance in gratitude before leaving the space walking back.

The three of them continue with Guillemina through the auction hall. Guillemina explains how the space will be looking and protected. They go to the next courtyard next to the hall and the passage to the vault. The location where they will need to take sinpiercer. A big tree is present in the courtyard good hiding spot.

Adaly casts see invisibility looking around and she can see the forcefield that blocks teleporting around the area. “On those rooftops are guards watching the courtyard?” Adaly asks looking around “Oh good point, normally yes, let me make arrangements so that they switch guards at the correct moment.”

“Okay great… I think we have all information we need, we shall be here for the auction and Jeremy will come arrive here the day after to collect” Adaly says and Guillemina nods in agreement. They leave and go back to the wyverns when Guillemina shows them a place she can cast teleportation circle and they teleport to the cabin.

At the cabin, Adaly immediately sends a quiet message to Sam ‘Could you suggest coming with me to Jack’s funeral?’ ‘Sure, but why?’ He narrows his eyes but doesn’t say anything out loud when Adaly just starts removing her clothing in the center of camp.

“Oh, I hate that dress, this feels so much better. Now we should split up, Amara goes to do the vision quest while I still have to go to Suzal and collect some stuff and go to Jack’s funeral.” Adaly says while slowly getting dressed.

Jeremy walks up and sees her naked and immediately turns around “Oh hey Jeremy, like what you see?” Adaly comments and she can almost hear his eye rolls. She laughs but also Sam rolls his eyes, but he returns back to the topic at hand “Livia you can help Amara the best, you have seen the preparations. Also, I would like to discuss few things with Damon, so if you are okay with it Adaly, I would like to join you.”

Adaly smiles and nods while wearing her armor once more. Livia looks doubtful “I could also join…” but Adaly shakes her head “It is better if we split evenly, unless you feel very strongly about saying goodbye, I would find it more comfortable if you stay with Amara. Heskeni will be interested in the incense and ritual, someone should keep her away.” Livia nods in understanding “I didn’t really know him, so I am okay, I just don’t like splitting up.”

Adaly sadly smiles “Neither do I, but I do believe this is the best way forward.” They all agree, and Sam also shifts to his armor and gets ready to go to Ingry.
