They still collect the weird gems, the vines try to attack them but Adaly manages to collect from a distance with her mage hand, and they walk back to the town. They need to get to the Leviathan, during the walk there she can probably talk to Livia.

Gevaudan is already packed and they teleport to Witterheim. Adaly immediately feels an intense giant heartbeat far away. Way further away than the heartbeat sensor should be pick up. They start flying towards Timbre, towards the Leviathan. Gevaudan travels with Amara on her wyvern, and the werewolf seems to enjoy this way of traveling.

Adaly spends their flight sending messages towards Amara. ‘I am thinking about telling the paladins about my ability to connect to Ilhoketh’ ‘Why would you do that?’ Amara quickly reacts and Adaly swallows ‘I really want to know what Livia is, we could use this for her to tell us.’ ‘How?’ Amara’s answers small and concise. Adaly thinks a second, ‘I can ask her that if I know more about her, I can find out if her sister is still alive.’ ‘Sounds like a plan, but you already made up your mind so why are we having this discussion?’

Adaly chuckles, it is a good point, but she still thinks it is good to keep Amara up to speed on what she is planning.

The heartbeat intensifies even more but now she can feel 6 distinct heartbeats, that is weird, she expected 7 heartbeats. They land for a short rest and she unattunes to her Ioun stone, the heartbeat getting to loud. Amara still keeps her Ioun stone on.

Adaly starts using her bloodvials and spies on Josenno. Josenno is in conversation with Lucan “Our lady is not here, our guest left… this is bad” Lucan says. “Just a bit longer, we are close to succeeding, next to that more mist fiends are coming and our backdoor is almost finished.” Lucan sits down “Do you really think it is a backdoor? It feels like she is keeping us in the dark…” Josenno lays a hand on his shoulder “Trust our lady, she already has given us so much… We shall succeed and be more powerful than ever” Lucan nods.

They converse a bit more about irrelevant things before the spell ends. Adaly takes her sending stone ‘Jeremy let other paladins know, Attack mansion asap, they get stronger every day. More mist fiends, but now protection left. So maybe not wait.’ And a minute later she gets back ‘Acknowledged, will inform Damon. Let them make decisions on their own. Good luck out there.’

The rest of the party looks at her “The warlocks had some guest, and those left, so they are currently even weaker, the army might be able to deal with it themselves” Adaly answers and Gevaudan looks surprised at them “So next to devils and hell we are dealing with warlocks?”

Adaly chuckles “Yes, archdevils and their generals tend to have followers.” Gevaudan lifts his shoulders and they quickly start traveling again.

In the evening they land and they set up camp. Adaly looks her allies over, ands stops to look at Livia, she swallows “Livia could we maybe talk?” the weird elf nods in agreement while they step away Adaly’s eyes look at Sam who is giving her a look. She stops and doubts how to continue.

She has strong feelings about the paladin and knows she is about to betray his trust. “Sam if you want, you can come to.” Adaly says and Sam quickly follows. Adaly steps into the woods, away from the rest of the party.

Adaly stops and starts pacing, after a second she stops closing her eyes, making her emotions seem bigger than they are. “I made a promise that I intend to keep, I promised I wouldn’t ask you about your background anymore Livia. It is just… I…. I will not ask, but I will reveal something about myself and maybe after you will want to share.” Adaly says and opens her eyes.

Sam looks annoyed and Livia looks concerned but they let Adaly continue further. She swallows, looks nervous at Sam, she knew hooking up with him was a mistake, now she feels guilty about manipulating Livia.

She continues “So I learned a new ability recently… I can connect to my fathers essence.” Both of their faces look in surprise and Sam immediately goes “What?” Adaly swallows but focuses on Livia, grabbing her hands. “I have been careful at using it, knowing the risk and being responsible about it… I did wanted to tell you, but I wanted to wait until I had information about your sister before I shared anything. Sadly I couldn’t find out anything yet… He doesn’t seem to know her.”

Livia takes her hands back and rubs her forehead after which she looks at Sam. Adaly swallows it was the wrong decision to bring him. Livia looks back at Adaly and wants to start before Sam intervenes “This stays between us.”

Adaly looks at Sam and chuckles “I have no secrets for Amara” Sam looks frustrated and turns around “Adaly you can’t… you… urgh” Livia goes to Sam and puts a hand on his shoulder “Sam it is okay… They should know… It has been killing me to keep this secret, and if she can get information about Ashe… I should tell them.”

“I will keep it a secret for Gevaudan if that makes you feel better” Adaly comments while leaning against a tree. Livia turns to her “Okay… I…” Sam still looking grumpy, and pacing around. Adaly comes closer to Livia, grabbing her hands again “It is okay Livia…” Livia nods and continues “I am an fallen ophanim… A type of angel…” Adaly first feels joy on having called it earlier but now a full feeling of shock comes over her.

“You are an… angel?” Adaly says hesitantly and swallows. Sam still nervously pacing and Livia chuckles “Yeah… So the necklace suppresses my grace, very well I might add. But yeah… The need for the necklace comes partially from the mortals who would like to kill me so that they can use my bones for the creation of magic items” “Hence it being really dumb to share your identity.” Sam interjects, and Adaly just gives him a glare saying you can trust me, which makes him chuckle and he shakes his head.

“I… sinpiercer is made from angel bones, so I understand the risk. I will not betray your trust… but you said only partially it is for that” Adaly says and Livia nods insecurely “My brother… he is not happy I left, so he is searching for me. Vale never understood why I couldn’t let Ilhoketh get away with this, and never supported me.” Adaly nods “Damn this… this is a lot” Livia smiles sadly.

“So you understand why we need to keep this a secret” Sam says harshly and Adaly just nods, not looking at him. The potential in Livia’s bones… this… so many options, goes through Adaly’s head. Livia and Sam start walking back to camp and Adaly quickly grabs Sams hand “I’m sorry” Adaly says and he nods in thanks.

They walk back to camp and once Adaly is within 120 feet of the camp she sends a message to Amara ‘Livia is a motherfucking Angel’ ‘The fuck’ Amara reacts and her eyes are wide when they arrive at camp, making Adaly chuckles.
