Adaly gently strokes Sam while he is gaining a bit more control “You should not continue… Gevaudan are you okay staying behind with him?” Adaly asks looking at the werewolf who is also looking rough “Yes, but staying in this thing seems like a bad idea…” Gevaudan answers.
Adaly swallows and nods “Stay with the wyverns, do stay off the path, just in case people like the ebony guard show up… Also here have my sending stone to Amara” Gevaudan takes the stone and starts helping Sam up, who wants to protest, but clearly is in too bad off shape to do anything.
Adaly turns the ladies invisible and they once more go to the hall with exploding creatures. They open the door and the creatures happily say “KABOOM” but don’t seem to actually see them. They float around disappoint.
Adaly sneaks to the box and start picking the lock when the heart detects Livia, and the bombs go towards her. Amara goes to her aid fighting the bombs, destroying them before they explode. More and more bombs spawn but Adaly manages to get the box open and grabs the crystal key.
“Lets go” Adaly yells while still invisible and the 2 ladies rush out with her. The bombs follow but Adaly turns all 3 of them invisible once more. The bombs eyes turning sad, and with the saddest voice say “Kaboom”, which makes Adaly almost feel sorry for them, but they continue to the southern room, hoping the key is for that door.
They are in luck, the door opens and a massive brass construct stands in front of them. The creature looks in the direction of the door but doesn’t spot them. He has a crystal key in his chest, and one of the leviathan hearts behind it.
They start a fight, Livia and Adaly keep at a distance while Amara gets up close and personal. The construct has a powerful left hook and Adaly gets concerned about her friend being alone that close to the monster, but Amara just shakes it off and continues bashing into it. After a good minute the construct falls over and Adaly start spamming spells towards the heart until also this one comes crashing down.
Amara goes to sit in a corner patching up her wounds a bit. Once the heart crashes Adaly starts creating hell fire bombs from the Leviathan ichor.
They take few more minutes just to sit and drink a bit Adaly looks at Amara and Livia “When we get back to the boys, could you guys not tell Sam about him hitting me?” Amara chuckles “And why is that?” Adaly gives her a look before silently casting message ‘because I like him… Happy?’ Amara chuckles once more ‘Would be even happier if you admit it out loud.’ Adaly rolls her eyes.
Livia looks Adaly over “Okay… I think it would be better to tell him, but if you rather keep it a secret…” Adaly looks hesitantly at Livia “I am not hurt, but it would hurt him if he knew… So let’s just not.”
They return to the bridge with the birds, but the birds have disappeared. They still have to balance the beam, but it is way easier to do without the birds picking at them. They go to the east exit and place the crystal in the door which reveals a staircase further down.
At the bottom of the stairs is a hall with 3 doors. They hear talking in the right direction, Adaly recognizes abyssal but cannot understand what they are saying.
She opens the door, keeping her hands raised “Hello, who are you?” she asks in abyssal and they stare at her for a second before grabbing their weapons. The creatures are all humanoids, with green skin, clearly some kind of demon genes.
A few of them are playing a dice game and a few of them start chuckling in abyssal one says “Get the boss” and the others grab their weapons. Adaly tosses one of her just created bombs and throws it at a group. One of them immediately goes down and the rest looks hurt. Amara smiles and grabs the overcharged Ioun stone she still had and follows Adaly’s example. A big explosion happens and the room start catching fire.
Adaly notices a crystal key on one off the demons on fire. She tries to grab it without touching the flames, while Livia and Amara continue fighting. The demon who was running to get the boss is getting away though, he is back in the hall and runs towards the door across from the stairs.
She grabs the key and rushes after the demon while flinging spells. It goes down but Adaly gets nervous about the boss so takes a rope and ties a knot around the door, preventing more demons from attacking them.
They go to the final door and a long hallway is in front of them. They continue walking and find another door that goes to around the same area as the door they locked, so Adaly takes another rope and locks this door too. Across from this door is another door and Adaly listens into it and hears abyssal.
Adaly gives a signal to Amara, getting ready for a fight, they ambush the demons and the fight is over in less than 12 seconds, them overwhelming the 4 demons.
