Adaly wakes up, looks at Sam and feels a small joy. After being so afraid the last few days, she didn’t expect to find joy so fast. Fear is still present, and looking at Sam she fears that she will lose him, but their love… It was something she had never experienced before.
She strokes his hair, takes in his scent. She decides to go back to the mission, she tries to spy on Josenno, but sadly the spell fails. So, then she switches to Yigadel. Sadly, the spell takes effect, meaning she is no longer in her prison.
Yigadel is running around and hides in an alleyway. Adaly sees the 2 paladins who were supposed to keep her save running in the street past her. Yigadel waits for a hot second before she starts climbing the roof tops. Adaly drops the spell, wakes Sam “Darling I need to go do a thing, I will be back soon” Sam grabs her closer and kisses her “Okay… be safe…” Sam says and Adaly nods.
Adaly quickly goes to Amara’s chambers “Hello Amara, do you want to scare my sister?” Amara was already in the middle of a push up and quickly jumps up “Hell yeah!”
Adaly cast teleportation circle towards Loutiers. Adaly turns herself and Amara invisible and they wait in front of the teleportation hall and, as expected, after a while Yigadel shows up. Adaly blocks her path and starts dropping the invisibility “Hello sister…. Shall we go somewhere to talk?”
Yigadel looks surprised and nods. They walk a bit before Yigadel turns and starts running but Amara trips her and grabs her “You are not going anywhere…” Amara says while turning visible. Yigadel looks annoyed “Fine… where do you want to go sis?” Yigadel grunts and Adaly chuckles. “Just in here will do, please sister after you…” Adaly says when they are in front of a shady looking tavern. Yigadel rolls her eyes but enters.
They go to sit in a corner booth, Yigadel in between Amara and Adaly. “So, what is this about?” Yigadel asks and Adaly smiles. “Just wanted to know what your plan is…. We put you in safe location, and you same less than grateful.” Yigadel starts laughing “That is what you were doing? Protecting me?”
“Yes, it was my intention to keep you safe, but now you are here. Now we have two options, we can keep you safe or kill you. Which do you prefer?” Adaly leans forwards, has a wicked smile. Amara just looks threatening at Yigadel, Yigadel chuckles “Not killing me, would have my preference.”
Adaly rolls her eyes looks at Amara “So we can take you back to the paladins but you should stay there.” “Or I just go home.” Yigadel answers and this time Adaly chuckles. “Now why would you want to do that?” Yigadel looks serious at Adaly “The whole Itaniel thing… Not my jam, I would prefer to just do my job.”
Yigadel looks around clearly doubting how to get out of the tavern. Adaly cocks her head “Don’t get any ideas. We would have you killed before you get anywhere.” Adaly sends a quiet message to Amara ‘We need to kill or let go, what do you think? Could use her for sending a message.’ Amara seems to consider ‘I would say let go… But if we can block her anyway that would be good.’
Adaly nods her head, looking at Yigadel, considering her options, before Adaly says “But okay sure, we are not keeping you prisoner, what is the plan? What will you tell him?”
“Who Ilhoketh? I will not talk directly to him. I will just return and follow orders.” Yigadel says and Adaly nods “I have talked to him, see I am special” Adaly jokes towards Amara who just rolls her eyes. “You spoke with him?” Yigadel reacts and swallows audibly.
Adaly chuckles “Yes, and I guess we are allies now. At least if he didn’t misunderstand what happened in the end. So, if you are going back, I would like you to deliver a message… Let me write it out.” Adaly says and grabs a piece of paper and cuts her finger, starting to write out a message in infernal in blood.
Dearest Father,
I hope you will forgive me for my allies’ transgression.
We have some unfinished business in the prime material, but rest assured we shall be in the citadel before the 11th, and I shall bring the crest. All you want will be yours, as long as you also hold up you end of the bargain, and give me what I DESERVE. The power is MINE.
Love,
Adaly Devilborn
“So how are you going to leave?” Adaly asks, knowing the price of teleportation being steep. Yigadel chuckles “I was going to play to noblemen’s daughter, hanging up a sob story and that my family has money, so if they let me teleport, they will be greatly rewarded.” Adaly laughs, that would never work “I would like to see that, you are going towards Tarranolvig right? Tieflings are not that popular in Fomeria, so I think they will not buy your story.”
Yigadel lifts her shoulders but narrows her eyes towards Adaly, Adaly can tell Yigadel does not trust her but at the same time surprised by how much she knows. “Fine I want to see this” Adaly says and stands up handing Yigadel the note she wrote to Ilhoketh. Yigadel looks them over in surprise, clearly she had not expected this to go without a fight.
Yigadel leads their way to the teleportation hall and tries to convince the gnome behind the desk to let her go for free, but as expected she fails. Yigadel turns back to Adaly “Seems you were right, well then, I will see you around sister.” Adaly smiles, not believing a word her sister said “Sure… till next time. Be safe” Adaly says and gives her sister a supportive touch on the shoulder. She genuinely hopes Yigadel will stay safe.
Amara walks to the gnome while Yigadel leaves. “Here is 100 gold, don’t let that woman teleport for the coming week.” Adaly smiles at her friend, that would prevent Yigadel from getting to the grey city in time for the transport to the citadel.
