Once Vivianna has been searched, she comes towards them “Not just a gold digger, also a thief?” Adaly looks at Vivianna “Why would I do anything like that?” Adaly stands up, looks Vivianna over “Because you are poor, and want something better”.
Amara comes closer, but Adaly shakes her head “Now I know you think you are some kind of big shot Vivianna, daughter of a duchess. You are accusing a baron and his wife. Know your place dear.” Adaly says while walking closer, angrily looking at Vivianna. Sam stands up, lays a hand on her shoulder. “Sweetheart it is okay, I am sure you just misunderstood lady Issandra. My lady, please accept our apologies. It is just a bit emotional for us.”
“Of course, my lord, and Sirrelieth, it has been such a pleasure” Vivianna says sarcastically when she steps away sitting down reading a book.
Adaly turns around, “I could have taken her.” She says frustrated, Sam kindly smiles “I am sure you could, but let’s not draw more attention shall we.” He whispers. Adaly rolls her eyes “Are you okay darling? I would like to bid on the next items” Adaly asks and Sam nods. Adaly looks at Amara “Keep him save” and Amara also nods while she walks closer to the auction stage.
Slowly people start coming forward again, all seem to avoid Adaly. Guillemina comes forward again “Sir Garrick has decided to leave but let us continue the auction.”
The next items are Ioun stones, the item Adaly really wants to win. It is one of the few items in Grishbalan that had the same value as they have here, making it the ideal items for buying her soul back.
Adaly wins the auction, takes the Ioun stones and walks towards Amara to give her the stones when she is blocked by Rovial “Thank you for those” he smiles and goes to grab the bag, when Adaly moves them back and chuckles “You really think this is a smart idea?” she smiles wickedly before saying in his head ‘If I am who you think I am, do you think it is smart to blackmail me?’
Rovial swallows narrows his eyes ‘So you admit being her?’ Adaly seductively touches his arms “Darling, it was nice to meet you, but I now should go to my husband.” She leans forward and whispers in his ear “Let’s keep the angel in retirement, shall we” And she steps away. Rovial doesn’t follow, and Adaly feels like he will keep quiet.
“We should go soon” Amara says and Adaly nods when she gives her the Ioun stones “Of course darling, let me just say goodbye to a few people.” Amara nods and goes to stand next to Sam, Sam pretending to be exhausted, which he convincingly does.
Adaly goes back to Alaric “I am sorry darling that our flirting got interrupted by my husband. I am not a gold digger, I genuinely care for him, we just have an understanding. I did enjoy our time and if circumstances were different, I expect both our evenings would have been more enjoyable. I hope we shall meet again.” Alaric takes her hand and gives a gentle kiss on it “It was a pleasure beautiful, let’s hope we shall meet again, I agree that it could have been very enjoyable” he says with a wicked smile on his face.
Adaly meets his smile, she would have had so much fun with this man, but no she wanted to see how her future with Sam would look. She would not have let it get that far this evening, but Alaric does have an interesting pull on her.
The last auction starts and a few patrons start leaving. Adaly walks towards Vivianna “Please do say hi to Oscar from me.” Vivianna chuckles “I will do… Your husband is an interesting one” Adaly looks at Sam, feels her heart fill with joy “He is indeed something special” She can feel Vivianna looking her over “Maybe I miss judged you, Adaly. Good luck with whatever you are doing.”
Adaly looks surprised at Vivianna “Thank you for that, but I go by Sirrelieth these days.” Vivianna chuckles before stepping away. Adaly goes back to her friends “Let’s go” and they leave towards Suzal.
