In Suzal they get back into their armor, and hand Jeremy the ring and the pack of Ioun stones. They are joined by Gevaudan and Livia once more while they teleport to Witterheim and start walking towards the Leviathan.

They start setting up camp in the early morning, having a weird sleep schedule when Sam asks Livia to go for a walk. Adaly looks surprised in the direction of the two paladins, but just helps setting up the camp, before she starts spying on Arav.

The mercenary is not doing to well, laying on the ground, clutching his chest. A hooded figure is standing over him. “Thank you for your cooperation” they say to him, before turning and walking away. Arav crawls to a wall and manages to right himself. Adaly stays a bit longer with him because she cannot seem to connect to any others but gleams no more information.

Adaly looks at Sam and Livia while they get back “Livia let me enter the amulet once more, getting more information for Heskeni” Adaly asks, and Livia hesitates but allows Adaly to come closer and enter the amulet. She makes notes before they go to sleep.

During Adaly’s watch she observes Amara, but after a while goes to sit next to Livia “You shouldn’t tell me any off Sam’s secrets… I understand you are trying to help, but we can figure this out ourselves.” Adaly says and Livia smiles back towards her “I know, it is just, you guys never talk.” Adaly chuckles, and nods in agreement “Neither of us like talking no. But that doesn’t mean we cannot figure this out. We have agreed mission first.”

Livia rolls her eyes “You guys realize life still happens, even during a mission?” Adaly smiles, “Yes we do, and we are enjoying each other, it is just… For a relationship you need serious talks, understanding each other, that takes time, which right now we don’t have. So let us just enjoy ourselves, and not make things to serious.”

Amara startles awake, and Adaly rushes towards her “What happened? I didn’t see Imrior….” Adalys asks and Amara rubs her head. “No, the spider-leg-devil interrupted Imrior coming to me. But we did have a conversation, he is an asshole.” Adaly chuckles remembering the last time she saw Es-Harelier, when he killed Rosemary. “That he is… are you okay?”

Amara sighs “Yeah… I just would like to kill him. I think he did teleport the ebony guard towards the Leviathan, so they will be waiting for us, setting a trap.” Adaly nods, “Let me check”. She focusses on the blood vial and Yigadel is indeed in the direction of the Leviathan.

“Are you okay?” Adaly asks and when Amara nods Adaly continues “Let me check what they are doing” and she grabs Yigadel’s blood vial and casts devil’s eyes. The spell not finding root, Adaly frustratingly slams the ground, before she remembers there is another way. She took the blood of the Leviathan before… She had not dared to connect with it, but it could tell see what the ebony guard is doing.

Adaly grabs the leviathan blood vial, the blood swirling weirdly, unlike the others. She swallows before connecting to it.

She feels that Leviathan notices the spell, but it’s not even trying to resist it, in fact, it feels like it’s pulling her in. As soon as the spell takes hold, she sees EVERYTHING, a thousand different images appearing in front of her minds eye at the same, she sees the forest, all the disgusting rooted fungus that is growing on it and the horrible things that are crawling around the ground. She sees the ocean, the purity of clear water desecrated by the things that swim it, always moving, disturbing the pristine calm.

She sees the beach, the black skinned humanoids and hellspawn that are standing there, most of them in a group, chatting, though one of them is sitting down, his eyes a milky white color and another is pulling orange gemstones surrounded by metal contraptions out of a bag that is too small to contain them. She doesn’t understand what they are doing, and she doesn’t care, they should stop existing or at least go back from the place they came from.

She sees the village, more of the disgusting humanoids that are always building, crafting, creating complicated things when they should be ground down into ashes. She feels some of the hatred the Leviathan feels towards them, it seeps into her mind through the link the spell creates.

The vision is chaotic, the leviathan’s sight so vast and its mind so alien that she struggles to make sense of everything she sees. And in between the sight of the area around the leviathan, she sees flashes of other senses the leviathan possesses, knowledge it has of its own insides. Things that her spell is not supposed to pick up on but does anyway. She feels the pull, going further, but she decided the abort, feeling it to be a bit too risky.

Her breathing is accelerated and she looks at Amara “They are setting up a trap, but we expected that” Adaly says and Amara nods ”Yes, lets discuss in the morning” Amara goes back to sleep and Adaly just observes her friend till the end of her shift, before she crawls next too Sam, who eagerly hugs her.
