The party enters a room with a large slime monster and another Leviathan heart. Sam quickly gets engulfed by the monster and Amara jumps in after him, seeing how easy it is to hit from the inside.
It takes some effort to kill it but eventually the slime monster goes down, but instead of staying down it starts morphing, splitting up in 3. “Fuck” Adaly says while the party splits up dealing with the multiple slime monsters. The new smaller ones are easier, but once more they split and split.
The fight takes a while but the party is successful in destroying it. Adaly looks once more towards Sam, who seems to avoid her gaze, so she herself does the same and focuses on the Leviathan heart.
Out of one of the other doors suddenly comes one of the grey skinned demons, but his face seems off, silly even. “Welcome to Eobard’s…. place of stuff.” But from inside the room, they hear protest “Nonono Eobard’s eclectic emporium…” “Yeah something with enjoyment and excitement. Please enter” the grey skinned demon finishes. Adaly chuckles and points towards the Leviathan heart while she continues flinging spells at it “I am kind off busy.”
Amara steps forward “Maybe your friend should also come out.” And cracks her knuckles “Nonono you are supposed to want to come in” the creature still in the room yells back. The silly looking demon replies “Come on man, they clearly don’t want to, maybe the lady is right, you should come out.”
“Fine, fine, fine, I am coming out.” A smaller slime monster walks out of the room, wearing a top head. At the same moment Adaly manages to destroy the heart and comes crashing down, which makes a loud crashing noise, interrupting the slime monster from speaking.
It clears its throat before saying “I am Eobard, and welcome to Eobards eclectic emporium of enrapturing enjoyment and esoteric excitement” Adaly rolls her eyes, and Amara says “We just killed a creature like you. Why wouldn’t we do the same to you?” Adaly chuckles and the slime monster looks insulted.
“I am more sophisticated as that thing. Maybe we are distant cousins, but no I have a fine establishment here, and would like to invite you to play a little game.” Eobard says and Adaly ignores the monster and goes to check if the heart is indeed destroyed while Amara continues the conversation with Eobard “And what would we win?”
Eobard smiles wickedly “I believe you are searching for crystal keys…” he does a spell and reveals a crystal that is embedded in the flesh of the Leviathan at the back of the room Eobard came from. “Okay… what game are we playing? And what if we lose?” Amara comments while Adaly walks into the chamber.
The chamber is like a gamble hall Adaly has visited in Tarranolvig. “Don’t trust him.” Adaly says and Eobard chuckles and says sarcastically, “You are welcome to try to get it out yourself.” “Okay” Adaly replies and takes out her daggers cutting the flesh.
Amara laughs but Eobard turns to her and starts explaining the game. Adaly knows the game, it is rigged in a way that the house always wins. “Don’t do it Amara, that game is rigged. Unwinnable.” Amara chuckles and says toward Eobard “No thanks, I think my friend has the correct idea, I will help her.” Amara says and follows Adaly’s lead.
They cut through the Leviathan flesh, but the blood of the Leviathan increases the corruption rapidly. Adaly can feel her paranoia growing. She does her best to avoid veins, but cutting in the narrow passage they are creating gets increasingly harder.
They hit a vein, and Adaly manages to avoid the blood spray, but Amara gets hit and faints. “Some help please, Amara should not be in here” Adaly yells to her allies, and they help her get Amara out of the small passage, while Adaly continues cutting.
A few moments later she hits something hard and manages to cut the key out.
She walks out of the passages, sees Amara is okay, but shaking. Adaly herself also feeling the effects of the Leviathan. “I think we should not continue further. It is making me nervous that we only have a few more days remaining, but we should survive the Leviathan as well.” Adaly says to her allies.
Eobard looks annoyed at them “You guys are the worst customers ever.” Adaly chuckles and asks, “Did you have anybody else come down here?” “Well… no, but…” Eobard starts replying. Adaly grabs a silver coin and goes to the silly looking demon “Here, now we are your best customers ever.” Eobard starts objecting, but the silly demon says, “Best customers…” and smiles at Adaly.
“So ready to go?” Adaly asks her party and starts casting teleportation circle to their homebase, the cabin near Suzal.
